Folksy Friday - Creative Crochet

I recently took up crochet, so today's Folksy Friday offering is a celebration of that craft.  The thing that appealed to me about crochet was it's versatility - the ability to create a whole range of beautiful things using a few basic stitches.  I think this selection illustrates that.

Clockwise from top left:
Lovely, 20's inspired cloche hat from The Faraway Tree; Intricate, delicate wrap from The Water Gypsy's Creative Crochet; I love the colour of the crochet neck warmer from Eccentric Ella; A bright sunny lambswool corsage by Rebecca Surgery Knit & Crochet; Beautiful salmon pink throw from Tricot Treats by Helen Day; and crochet dinosaur toys, which my son really liked, from Ku-dom.

Beautiful choices! Being a yarn crafter myself, and loving crochet in particular, which I find so relaxing, I know how much work goes into these lovely creations.
